little Luna

She was pretty nervous on the car ride home on Saturday and
only calmed down when she laid on Bass's shoulders and stuck her face
into his hair. That was the only thing that kept her from whining the
entire way home. She is getting along well with Lucy (the puggle we
are dog sitting) and today they played rough and tumble together out in the grass. Luna is pretty tenacious for a little one. She was trying to pounce on Lucy over and over again, even Lucy is about 5 times her size.

She has no problems with the crate we got her. She immediate got into
it when we put her in front of it and will already respond to 'go to
your room' when we point to the crate (its pretty amazing). She loves
sleeping in it and sleeps most of the day (but seems to not want to
sleep at night!). She is still pretty whiny and a little cry baby when
she wants attention. Of course Bass is worried that its either going to be too little or too dumb. He's putting her through puppy bootcamp.

We still don't know what kind of dog the dad is. Our most recent favorite is German Shepard mix, even though the shelter people think shes a Cocker Spaniel mix. We'll see. It will be a surprise.
